2018 ARABIAN OLYMPIAD WDARAB Inc. will once again be hosting the Arabian Olympiad at the Melbourne Summer Horse Show. The Olympiad will be conducted on Saturday 13th January 2018, at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre, under the banner of the Melbourne Summer Horse Show. For those who are committed to promoting the Arabian and Derivative horse in all breeds and open company, this gives you an opportunity to compete in your Arabian/Derivative classes at an all breeds event which also features Riding Ponies, Australian Ponies, Open, and more! The Olympiad will feature the same Gold, Silver and Bronze Championship format as last year, with the same very civilised late start time! We are delighted to welcome panel judge Jody Pickering (Vic) to preside over our expanded programme, which now features a Newcomer class and split Supreme Championships for led Derivatives. We look forward to seeing everyone there! ***ATTENTION*** The cancellation of the 2017 WDARAB Inc. Arabian Spectacular has resulted in two class changes at the Olympiad. The Newcomer class has been replaced by the Krishlah Newcomer Award, with a floral garland for the winner sponsored by Krishlah Arabians. Class 17AM, the Ablue Moon Award, has been added to the programme, with a sash garland for the winner sponsored by Ablue Moon Arabian Ponies.
